Trucks category is the the big prize in every Dakar & it is ruled by the Russian truck manufacturer Kamaz. This year too, it was swiped away with all the top 3 positions by the blue team. Being big
doesn't make it any easy to win, infact if they overturn it takes another truck to pull it back on its wheel. It is this fact that what it makes them so lovely to watch them in complete awe. Dmitry Sotnikov took the honors of this year's title of Dakar edition. His Anton Shibalov & Aryat Mardeev finished in second and third respectively.

With this final mega competition vehicles crossing the finish line, Dakar 2021 now officially comes to an end after 12 grueling competitive days across the length and breadth of Saudi Arabia.

It had it's share of few crashes and rescues, but it was mostly pleasant to learn there were no casualties. May be it was the added safety systems & features, especially for the bikers who make the most of the numbers.

Cheers to all the winners & competitors. Keeping the spirits high as always, see you Dakar in 2022.!
