WRC 2015, start of a new season
is only a few days away. It kicks off with the traditional season opener, Rally
Monte-Carlo
. There are many changes in this years WRC season, which should keep
its fans excited.















VW with their new Polo & Colors

Coming to the main arena, the teams and drivers, two time champions Volkswagen have decided to go with
the same driver lineup. Sebastien Ogier, Jari-Matti Latvala and the third driver Andreas
Mikkelsen
.







Only changes will be to the car Polo WRC. Yes, there are a few upgrades to the car with fresh homologation. Which will be introduced in Rally Monte-Carlo. We can
expect the Polo’s fighting hard to defend their titles.


















The French squad, Citroen too
have decided to keep its drivers lineup for 2015. Kris Meeke and Mads Ostberg will
pilot the DS3 WRC. Where as the DS3 WRC has undergone a few changes which they
showcased in their pre event tests. It gets a new wing and a paddle shifter.





One more big news from Citroen camp is return of 9 time world champ
Sebastien Loeb. Yes! Loeb will pilot the DS3 WRC alongside his regular partner / co-driver Daniel
Elena
in Monte, which will be his only WRC round this year. It will be
interesting to see can he make a 8th win in Monte-Carlo.











M-Sport reveals new Livery for 2015

The UK based blue oval's WRC constructor team a.k.a M-Sport WRT has
a new driver lineup this year. With its former veteran driver Mikko Hirvonen retiring
from WRC, Ott Tanak was named as the other driver alongside Elfyn Evans


They
have also revealed their 2015 livery which looks spectacular on the new
facelift Fiesta WRC





Apart from this they will be running the support series
Drive DMack Fiesta Trophy partnered with DMack tyres. Car used is newly built
Fiesta R2, with Ecoboost 3-cylinder 1-Liter engine. This series was a great success last year. Newly developed engine and transmission is planned for entry at the later part of the season.























Not much changes in Hyundai's livery

Korean car maker Hyundai WRT have retained their 2014 driver lineup intact, Thierry Neuville being their main driver, and Dani Sordo as primary team mate for Neuville, rather than rotational policy of drivers as last year.





Kiwi driver Hayden Paddon will drive a third i20 WRC. Hyundai will be introducing an all new i20 WRC Rally car towards the end of the season. It comes as a replacement to the older generation shell of the existing i20 WRC Rally car.






















Kubica' new livery for 2015

Coming to privateers list, Robert Kubica has opted for another full WRC season in his Fiesta WRC. Czech WRC regular Martin Prokop will drive his  Fiesta RS WRC for Jipocar National Team . Bryan Bouffier gets a drive in Fiesta WRC for Monte, and another for the WRC returning Norwegian Henning Solberg.




Yuri Protasov and Sebastien Chardonnet have stepped up to WRC and both will pilot DS3 WRC in Monte. Italian driver Lorenzo Bertelli have also opted to drive Fiesta WRC in season opener Monte.














Stephane in DS3 R5


WRC 2, the support series of  WRC also has  a strong entry this year. Craig Breen will tackle the season in Peugeot 208 R5 machine. Stephane Lefebvre will drive Citroen DS3 R5 for full season.





Last year's WRC3 runner French driver Quentin Giordano steps up to WRC 2 driving a DS3 R5. Other than that WRC 3 will be run on Citroen DS3 R3 as usual and it also keeps a strong entry.
